Portable Massage Table

The first thing you need to do is determine what your needs are with the table.  Due to the philosophy behind many healing techniques wooden tables are becoming very popular.  My experience is that portables get knocked around a lot, so if you can, go with a steel frame or strong alloy.  If the patient is going to be face down for a long time you can't beat an adjustable face rest and as the arm rests are much dearer get one of those as well.  The width of the table is determined by the size of your clients.  The narrower, the lighter the table but most do prefer wider. 
If possible get double density foam, your patients will appreciate it and do fork out for a table cover as they pay for themselves in no time.

The last thing is height.  Colleges will tell you all sorts of rules on how to choose the height (most are wrong).  Probably the best advice is that it is better to be a little lower than higher because it's easier to massage with bent knees than on your toes.

The best idea is to pay a bit extra and purchase a height adjustable massage table so if your needs change your table is able to accommodate.
