What is Naturopathy?
Although the term “traditional naturopathy” originated in the late 19th Century, the art can be traced back through Germany into Greece, to Hippocrates himself, and even beyond. There have always been people who understood that healing will occur naturally in the human body, if it is given what it truly needs, that is proper diet, pure water, fresh air, sunlight, exercise, and rest.

Why Choose Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a system and philosophy of medicine that has been around for hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years. Before the advent of ‘conventional' medicine, which uses a wide variety of drugs and surgical procedures, almost every doctor learned how to use herbs, minerals, homeopathy, and other natural methods to treat disease.

Alternative medicine or prescription drugs
Alternative medicine is made up of all natural products, contains no preservatives. There are NO side effects and will not damage your organs like prescription drugs. Yet, people feel that they can trust only prescription drugs... knowingly, there are side effects and will damage organs, cells, and sometimes even the nervous system.

A Course in Naturopathy
Are all naturopathy courses the same?  Not a bit, in fact they range from the fantastic to the alarming and everything in between.  First you need to think of what type of naturopath you want to be.  If you think there aren't different types of naturopaths, you had better do a lot more research before enrolling.

Naturopathy
Naturopaths believe the healing power of the body is the most powerful tool and should be supported - not overridden. The body can heal cuts, mend broken bones, rid itself of infections and achieve feats when given a chance that makes no competition against any man-made drug.
